Monkey D Luffy

Monkey D. Luffy is a 17-year-old boy who defies one’s standard definition of a pirate. Luffy is not interested in gold, or fame, or power like most pirates. Instead, Luffy wishes to become the Pirate King because he believes that would make him the freest man in the seas. Luffy values the pure wonder of being a pirate: of going on an exciting adventure with his Strawhat Crew. Following in the footsteps of his childhood hero, Shanks, Luffy and his Nakama go across the seas to find the One Piece.
